About this session
For almost half a year, Serbia’s students have occupied their university buildings and led a mass protests against the Serbian government. They’ve forced the resignation of the government and destabilised a highly entrenched presidency under Aleksander Vučić.
This session will look at the inspiration and lessons that can be learnt from the student blockades and protests, how they’ve organised protests through mass, democratic methods, and how they’ve drawn into protests workers, farmers, pensioners and hundreds of thousands of ordinary people.
