Capitalism and climate crisis

About this session

Environmental destruction has always been a feature of the capitalist system. The system's logic of competitive production for profit means constant expansion, extraction and pollution. This session will look at these dynamics as well as the current climate crisis, and the role of class struggle and anti-capitalist politics in combating it.
